Insanity is normality.
Chapter Three
My secret is that
I want to avoid insanity
But trying to avoid it
makes me appear insane.

Chapter Four
Insanity is not so much
a constraining state of mind
as it is a
way of life
that seeks to expedite
one's capacity to cope
with the world of sensate experience.
It is the prime facilitator of normal
human communication.
It is a condition necessary for being understood
Avoiding it, some fly over the cookoo's nest.

Chapter Five
Happiness
is not flying over the cookoo's nest...
...but keeping the secret that
you can.

Chapter Six
Symmetry
is the delicate balance between
being insane
but not knowing it
and
knowing you are not
but appearing to be.

Chapter Seven
Art is the manifestation
of true reality
It is made for the insane
who take great pleasure
in pretending to understand it,
by those who are not
who take greater pleasure
in tantalizing the insane.

Chapter Eight
Fear of the superficiality
inherent in the world of appearance
causes insanity.
Only knowledge of a deeper real truth
can cause this fear to disperse.
When I can see
beyond the superficiality of my existence
I will get to know peace.

Chapter Nine
I am not very patient
with aggravations
caused by the insane...
...nor with the impatience
they show towards
my apparent insanity.
I must regain the sense of harmony
I know to be the answer.

Chapter Ten
Harmony is a natural state
disturbed most often by
man's insane attempts
to obtain it.
It cannot be contrived
any more adequately than
faith can be reasoned or
love measured.
It is the perfect symmetry
in and between all things
as they ebb and flow...
...the invariant property
that exists across a multitude
of ever changing combinations.
It is my understanding,
my knowledge
I am the harmony or I am not.
That is the natural state and
that is why I can not obtain it
by outward manipulation.

Chapter Eleven
Where am I
in this confusion?
Half mad and half sane?
The insanity of it is that
I don't know
and cannot tell
which half is which.
Life is a line between
knowing
that you are not insane and
behaving
as though you are.
But the line is like a high wire.

Chapter Twelve
Loud cries for help
are really
Loud cries pleading
for solitude.
For only in oneself
can true harmony be found.
And when it is
only then can it be shared.
